Distance Learning Update – Message from Mrs Hunter

As we are approaching the end of term, and we are busy planning how everyone will return to school, we need to do something a little different in our Google Classrooms.

Your teachers will continue to provide you with fun learning activities, although these will be tasks  which will require less writing, and can be completed more independently.  Staff will still check in with you, but a little less frequently – it would still be great to see some photographs of your learning, so that we can put them on Twitter!!

Thank you to all the boys and girls who have worked so hard in their Google Classroom – and thanks to all the family members who have supported them.  We are preparing a survey to find out more about your experience of Google Classroom – what worked and what helped.

I will be putting a letter on the website soon, with an update on in-school visits for pupils moving from Nursery – Primary 1 and Primary 7 – S1.  Pupil Reports will also be coming out to you, by post, week beginning 22nd June.  There will also be information, for all pupils, about next year’s classes and arrangements for the return to school in August.

We hope you are all staying safe.  Can’t wait to see you all again.

Mrs Hunter
