Nursery Admission Letters

Nursery Admission Letters

Letters have now been posted and emailed to families of returning children and those enroled to start in nursery, in August 2020.  As explained in the letter, it has been necessary for all settings to make changes to original offers, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.  Please see the message below, from Midlothian Council, explaining how to access the on-line parental survey and key dates.

What will early learning and childcare look like in 2020/2021?

All Midlothian early learning and childcare settings will follow guidance from Scottish Government, Health Protection Scotland and Environmental Health on measures which should be taken such as social distancing, cleaning and hygiene routines and personal protective equipment. Children will be in smaller groups and we will set start and finish times for each group so there aren’t lots of children arriving or leaving at the same time.

What you need to do

Please go to the following link to complete a short survey which will help us to understand your preferences for the pattern of delivery in August. This survey must be completed before the 8th June. We will then inform you of what hours your child will be able to attend by Friday 19th June. You can also use the survey to tell us if you wish to change ELC providers however you will need to complete a new application form for the new setting before your child can start. This can be requested through the mail box below.
